Life Aggro is, at its heart, an IRL guild.
We've all transitioned from hanging out in the bars together to roaming the lands of Azeroth.
What does that mean to you? It means that we want to get to know you. We are an easy-going helpful group that likes to play and are not afraid to talk a little trash. We've made friends through this game and will continue to do so.
Our members aren’t coming from a hard-core raiding background but we are experienced and skilled players that like to win...we just aren’t going for any server firsts.
We have a vent server, guild bank, and members that contribute lots of gems, chants, pots, repair bots and feasts to the group.
Stuff we are currently doing...(our pre-cata plan):
-Running ICC25 for gear and glory
-Running ad hoc ICC10
-Working on some ICC10 HMs
-Gearing alts and new 80s
-Some Hot PVP action (BGs/Arena/Wintergrasp)
-Leveling alts
-Going AFK as needed for kid-aggro (*thus the guild name)
Expectations of new members:
-#1,2 and 3 rule is "Be Nice"…To guildies, in-trade, and in pugs.
-If you lead a raid or pug, we expect you to be EXTRA nice because you are representing the guild and leading potential future guildies. Coach people that are doing things wrong...don't call them out. Praise in public, criticize in private.
-No drama. Real life has enough drama that we don't need it in our game.
-Show up on raid nights.
There is no hard and fast attendance policy but if you Accept for a raid, please attend or let the raid leader know ahead of time.
-Be prepared on raid nights.
Grab reagents, pots, a flask and a repair before the raid starts. And if it’s a new boss, watch a video and/or read up on the fight.
-Be patient.
We are a guild with varying levels of raiding experience so be okay with some wipes and be okay when someone screws up…it might be you the next time. And be okay with occasional AFKs, as real-life sometimes interrupts.
-Know your class, and be willing to learn more.
-Work on your gear.
We are not asking for minimum level of gearscore, but we expect you to work towards having the right gear for the content…and make sure it’s gemmed and enchanted. We generally like to see gearscore of at least 5k to start raiding ICC25 with us.
(Lvl450 Jewelcrafters and Enchanters are on staff to help you.)
-Don't be a loot-@#$%. We all love getting shiny new purple things, but it's not worth creating drama over...take a long-term view on the game. How many people do you remember that quit a guild over some piece of iLevel 226 gear...it's just dumb. /offsoapboxnow
-Having the ability to appreciate a well delivered movie line from the 80's and 90's is a bonus.
